Feelfree commenced trading nearly 10 year's ago based in New Zealand.

In 1999 with new management at the helm, Feelfree International formed a joint venture with Joy Sports - Thailand. The combined objective of both companies was to continue supply of rotational moulded kayaks to the South Pacific region, and with the long term aim of taking their product range to the world market.

Thailand - Bankok, with the increasing reputation of being the manufacturing centre of South East Asia was geographically positioned to supply existing and developing markets. The Feelfree International design team based in New Zealand developed the new generation range of kayaks, and assisted with process improvement and quality control of manufacturing. Heavy design emphasis was placed on incorporating features such as stability and straight line tracking, making all models paddler friendly yet at the same time considering the more experience paddler's needs.

Innovative hull designs have been applied to create a fresh look and feel to kayaks and allow a broad range of activities. Deck lay-out's are comfortable yet stylish while providing practical features such as molded in carry handles, safety lines, drink holders, and dry and wet storage areas.

The design team continues to add to the Feelfree range of kayak's and accessories, applying the same basic design philosophy that has been the key to their success.

The Feelfree brand has grown to be synonymous with high quality, fully featured, fresh look, high performance and global reach. Feelfree kayaks are now sold in more than 20 countries around the world.
